Em! This post made me laugh, cry, and smile literally at the same time. What a beautiful post and tribute to photographers everywhere! I love your inspiration from the photos of your parents and grandparents. Loved them…and love what you wrote about treasuring photos. And then when I saw the pic of Logan and I…I lost it. That is one of my favorites and something I will DEFINITELY treasure my entire life. Thank you for blessing me with your friendship, knowledge, & spirit - and I loved, loved taking your profile pics. Have you ever considered becoming freelance writer (in all of your spare time-ha!)? Awesome post. I think that next week, I will finally be ordering that canvas of George, Peter, and Preston on the beach from last fall. You told me to do it 4 months ago….. Love the pics of you, too. Gorgeous.

Emily, this post made me cry (darn postpartum hormones!) Makes me realize how many pictures I have of my children WITHOUT me in them. And, I have … 3? pictures with my husband since our wedding (10 years in Sept!).
Want to come to CA? Take my picture? I’d love that. Thanks for this reminder.
