Are we this old?? I can’t believe one of my oldest friends is about to have her first baby. We were friends growing up (met in the 3rd grade) and had some awesome times in high school and then in college. I was honored to be the maid of honor at her wedding where she married Jared (her bf from high school). Even though we have not kept in touch as often as we did in high school and college - being an adult can be crazy busy sometimes - I still consider Bethany one of my best girlfriends. Every time we see each other it is like no time has passed at all. I am publicly stating that I WILL be better at staying in touch! Ok? Ok. :)

Bethany emailed me a few weeks ago wanting to know if I do maternity sessions. Of course I jumped at the chance! I didn’t (and she agreed) want to do the traditional maternity session. I promised her she could keep all her clothes on! So we went to Noerenberg Gardens in Orono. It was about sunset and there was the most beautiful golden sunlight. This was a great place to take photos, however, not exactly convenient with no bathroom (other than a biffy) for the pregnant one! Oops. I will remember that for next time! It all turned out well and we ended the session with a fun dinner at Lord Fletchers. I hope that they love these photos as much as I do. I think they look like a very happy couple that is expecting! I hope to be able to photograph little Baby K in October!! So….stay tuned! :)
