something new….

You may have heard me talk about him at a session. You may know him. You may not. His name is Ryan. He is my boyfriend. We have been together for over almost two years and love working on projects together. He immediately showed an interest in my business and my job. We love taking photos when we are out and about. Ryan loves clicking away and learning how to use the camera. He is actually pretty good at it. He definitely has a creative eye. Sometimes his ideas are a little wacky but he always has a final product in mind.

He recently acquired some more free time due to this wonderful economy we are going through … and he has been starting to help me out. He shot a wedding with me a couple weekends ago and did awesome! I am very grateful to have someone that is supportive and loves to be a part of what I do. Some of his shots were amazing - things I wouldn’t have even thought of! I can’t wait for the next one! He also came with me to a family session and did a great job helping set up and getting those little babies to smile!

It is difficult at times to let go of some things I have been doing a certain way for a long time but it will all be for the best in the end. He is super excited about marketing and spreading the word! I am thankful for him being supportive and loving through all of this. I may get frustrated but none of his work goes unnoticed or unappreciated. He was working on a photobooth album the other night - he looked so cute figuring out how to use photoshop. “How do you get the picture in the gray box thingy?” “You mean a clipping mask?” “YEAH!” And on he went….. I snapped these photos of him working.

Tomorrow we are driving together to Ohio to visit some friends of mine from College. I will post some photos when we return home.

Thank you to Ryan for helping me and getting involved. I can’t wait to grow together however that may be.
